The London boy has spent 2005 performing around the UK with his crew, and is already hotly tipped as the next big thing in Brit-Asian/urban music. | The Kray Twinz are stepping it up and striding into the limelight with the release of their debut single 'What We Do.' They have finally stepped away from their production suites and come to the forefront. Their distinctive production style, merging hip hop beats with the frenzied energy of the Asian music scene, is seamlessly put together to create this adrenaline-fuelled single. These musical originators have marked the great transition from influential Asian talents to indisputably one of the UK's hotly anticipated production duos. Having co-produced one of the biggest crossover records 'Mundian To Bach Ke' which was released by Panjabi MC last year (click here to check an exclusive interview when they discussed this with DJ Dev), the Twinz have gone on to ghost produce records with Jay-Z, Mark Morrison and Jadakiss. The hot video climbed to the number 1 position in the MTV Base charts in just 2 weeks and is receiving video plays across the board. This never before joint collaboration, featuring US heavy weight |

Now lets switch our attention to another duo making serious noise on the desi scene. Sunit's musical creativity started at a very early age. From being a member of a dance group to creating his own unique beats, he has come a very long way. He hooked up with Raxstar after his bootleg mix of M.I.A's "Galang" received critical acclaim and worldwide radio play (from San Diego to Dubai). Raxstar himself has written over 200 songs but started to garner nationwide recognition after featuring on the 'Nasheh' remix from Juggy D's album. However, as an individual, he wanted to create something much more original, unique and personal, enter Sunit. Both artists merged creatively to give birth to a new sound amalgamated in 'Keep It Undercover'. Raxstar's lyrical content and Sunit's inimitable sound proves that young Asian talent cannot be pigeon holed into a stereotypical category. This was followed by 'Ain't No Love' that has proved to be another success story. Their joint EP is in the works, tentatively titled 'Fulfilling Ambition', and one of the standout tracks, SH1 is sure to mesmerize you with its haunting female vocals, awe-inspiring strings and effortless double-time rap. The EP features 8 tracks will be available online from both artists websites, www.sunit.biz and www.raxstar.co.uk plus a video for their first track "Keep It Undercover" has recently been completed and it will hitting various music channels in early November. Although unsigned, it seems that these two artists are biding their time until the right record company snaps them up but until then they are receiving support from public and industry alike.
