Part 4

Unfortuantley the Dr Zeus/General Levy collabo has been delayed. They're going to back with a totally new remix and release it in a few months, probably around January 2004. The mix is said to be more on the desi vibe with greater involvement from B21 (Bally & Bhota). However, this ain't the end of the Asian onslaught into the mainstream - Raghav will soon be hitting the charts with 2Play, with a song entitled 'So Confused'

Now not many people will have heard of 2Play. That is the name of the producer who has come up with 'So Confused'. The vocalists on the tune are MC Jucxi and Raghav. 2Play - aka Wessley - has been around the scene for a while now. He started in 1997 as a garage DJ playing alongside the likes of EZ and Karl 'Tuff Enuff' Brown. He is also the man behind this years huge club cover of Kevin Lyttle's 'Turn Me On'

MC Jucxi is best known for his work with artists such as Damage and UK Apache. He has also featured on remixes of Outakast's Miss Jackson and a Liberty X tune.

Now onto Raghav who at 22 years old has a list of accolades that would be difficult to include here. He began his musical training at the tender age of five. At this age he was studying classical Indian music with Guru Nishi Kant Bali. Within a year, he was performing in shows in Canada. A number of music schools across the States offered Raghav a scholarship. One offer he could not turn down was the opportunity to work with world-renowned coach Seth Riggs in LA. Not many will be familiar with his name, but the fact that his other students include Michael Jackson, Stevie Wonder and Madonna should indicate his status in the industry. Raghav's incredible talent is furthered by the fact that he is in fact tri-lingual; he can sing in Hindi, French and English. In 1998, he won an award for top original song as voted for by the National Songwriters Association of America, and thus establishing himself as a prolific songwriter. Raghav then moved to England to study at Paul McCartney's Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts (LIPA). Raghav's unique voice and exceptional song writing skills has led to a great deal of attention from top producers worldwide. He has already worked with top garage act Sunship (previously worked on remixes for Craig David) and Mushtaq (the man behind the popular remix of Hill Street Soul's 'All that'). He will also be collaborating with top reggae duo Sly & Robbie, who have worked with top names including Bob Marley, Simply Red and The Rolling Stones. A further notable collabo has been with top UK rapper Iceberg Slimm. Raghav's own solo debut single won't be out until early next year and will be entitled 'Can't Get Enough'.

Meanwhile, get ready to support Raghav on 2Play's 'So Confused', which is a ground breaking blend of RnB and dancehall that will have you singing along before you even realise you are doing it. The tune is quality, and I'm quite sure it will make the Top 10. It's already getting play on the mainstream stations such as Radio 1 and Kiss. The tune is scheduled for release on the 10th of November.
